As the owners of an investment property in Brisbane and residing in Melbourne it was necessary for us to find a professional and dependable real estate agent. Our Webb Street property has been managed by Swan Real Estate for the past six years. We have been totally dependant on the staff to ensure that the property was properly looked after, to advise us when tenants were coming and going and to alert us to any problems along the way. There were thankfully, few of the latter.
When it came time to sell the property, we were again totally dependant on the advice provided on the market conditions and sales process and we were kept informed almost on a daily basis.
My wife and I were extremely impressed by the efficiency and authority of Mervin Greer, Principal of Swan Real Estate, as he organized and executed the sale of 3 Webb St. His advise and subsequent action assisted greatly negotiations between our lawyers and the purchasers. We believe that without his intervention and sage advice the sale may not have proceeded, certainly not as quickly and successfully as it did.
We would like to praise the work of June Thacker who has the onerous task of looking after the administrative side of Swan Real Estate which brings her into regular contact with troublesome owners as well as tenants! June was our go to person in Brisbane on all matters of the tenancy. Again, we cannot fault her performance during the past six years and we thank her for her commitment, efficiency and advice.
We would also like to thank all the staff at Swan Real Estate with whom we have had contact, but have, sadly never had the opportunity to meet.
